Band - the inexplicable success, and infuriating, according to their haters - are apparently fed up with criticism. So they began to take action, they respond to Tweets with cheerful abandon. The aim of the critic, even more mad is Nickelback.

Band, whose latest album is now No. 9 on Billboard's ranking of 200 last week, was long a target on his back. Last Thanksgiving, frontman Chad Kroeger and the Detroit Lions' football game that runs half the time - although a group of some 50,000 fans were able to get a petition signed by a set of fields to be boycotted. And a recent Rolling Stone article, the very existence of black keys drummer Patrick Carney Nickelback, sniping lamented: "Rock and roll is dying because people are becoming the world's biggest band Nickelback with the idea that they had become the largest in.
